Theese are the locations where you can travel to in Spira. When it comes to deciding where you want your character to be located for roleplay, you must consider the prospect of them travelling to other areas.
If you want your character to be in Moonflow, Thunderplains or anything that isn't in the Roleplay section you will have to write that in the Spira board.
When travelling between locations, you must consider...
- How long will it take for them to go from point A to point B?
- What mode of transport would they use? Would they travel by foot? Chocobo? Or even by aircraft?
- What encounters and obstacles would they have along the way? Would the roads be blocked? What about the elements such as a flood or blizzard?
- Would they have traveled alone or in a group? How big would the group be?
How to get from one location to another
(If you are to lazy to read this, there is easier explenation below!)
From besaid to Kilika you will have to take a boat and same goes for Killika to Luca! Remember to pray in the temples of Besaid and Kilika if you are a summoner! To get from Luca to Djose you will have to walk. In djose there is also a temple, so summoners! Stay focused. Djose to Moonflow you will also have to walk. Yes there is a lot of walking but here's something tricky when you get to Moonflow! If you want to get to the other side of Moonflow and move on to Guado Salam you will have to pay the Hypello so he can take you over the water with his gigantic Shoopuf! That will be 50 gils please! You're lucky it's not that much. After your problem and arguing with the Hypello and you have finally made it over the deep water with the underwater city beneath you, you can then walk to Guado Salam and from there you can Go to the Thunder Plains. If you never have been in thunder plains before and have no idea where to go in Guado Salam to get there. It's at the bottom floor, a little tunnel there leads you out. If your still dizzy, ask for directions!
You ought to be careful in the Thunder Plains though because it's a lot of lightning strikes going on there, but if you have made it across that horrible but yet beautiful place you will come across the stunning forest called Macalania Woods. If you continue on that rode you can pay a visit to the Macalania Temple which is by the Macalania Lake. You can also turn right when you enter the Macalania Woods and there you will arrive by a left turned road that leads to the city Bevelle! If you continue a little further on that rode you will come to a 4 crossed road. The road to the left leads to a crystal cave, the right one leads to a beautiful lake where you may know from the game, it's where Yuna and Tidus kissed for the first time. Right after she and Seymore got married! You go Tidus! Anyways! If you just continue right ahead on the 4 crossed road you will end up in the Calm Lands. Well, the name says it all!
When you are done in the Calm Lands you can walk NorthEast to come to the Sunken Cave where Yojimbo the stolen fayth is buried. He will cost you though if you want him as your aeon! Let's continue on our rode! Just up ahead lays the Mountain called Gagazet! (Mt. Gagazet) There is no temple there so you can just continue up the road untill you reach the city in ruins, Zanarkand. There you will fight Sin, only if you are a summoner though. REMEMBER; that you cannot "defeat" Sin without all the Aeons except; Anima, Yojimbo and the Magus sisters!
If you want to come to Bikanel Island you will have to go by airship. Another way is to go through sin also, but he can practicularry put you anywhere in Spira. ALSO, I don't think he's going to keep you alive or with your memory left. So... I propose you don't go near him at all, hehe!

Calm Lands to Sunken Cave - Walk
Sunken Cave to Mt. Gagazet - Walk
Mt. Gagazet to Zanarkand - Walk

AIRSHIPS
You can also move around with an airship, but airships are very hard to come by! Of course you can buy one, but they cost a lot of Gils!
If you want a small airship that can hold max 10 people it will cost you 50 000 000 gil
If you want a medium sized airship that can hold max 50 people it will cost you 200 000 000 gil
If you want a large airship that can hold 100 people it will cost you 1 000 000 000 gil

What must include in the description of the ship
How do the inside look, remember not to make it to fancy or anything close to that. Make sure that the airship messures its payment. Do also describe the outside of the ship even though there may be a picture of it above. Which humans are in there? Do they live there. What weapons are stored there. Is there a merchant on the ship? Who is the capten? You can also describe which ways you have to go to get to the store room for example. Generally speaking you have to describe everything about the ship without overdoing it!
